Brecon Police Station Open Day

Brecon Police Station is opening its doors to the public this summer.

On Saturday, 7th July between the hours of 11am and 4pm members of the public are invited to visit the station where they will have opportunity to take a tour around the police vehicles including the mobile police station, a riot van, patrols cars, a police tractor and a Go Safe speed van.

Visitors will be able to take a guided tour of the station’s custody suite and sit in a cell. There will be plenty of activities to keep children entertained including face painting, sports activities and police dress-up.

Local officers and staff will be there to speak to visitors about any concerns they may have around crime in the town. There will also be officers from specialist police departments including the dog section, firearms, Specials on horses, as well as other partner agencies and emergency services.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
