KS3 Information

Assessment – How is work assessed?

  • Homework and classwork is marked using A-E grades and KS3 Levels.
  • Students are also given a current level and a target level for the end of KS3.
  • Classwork and homework is marked fortnightly and assessed on a monthly basis as appropriate

Homework – Frequency and type of work

Lessons are taught once every two weeks andat least four homework tasks are provided duringthe project.

How can you support your child?

  • Supporting them with homework activities when appropriate
  • Encouraging them to practice extra sewing, drawing and other practical activities

Equipment Required

Pen, pencil, eraser, scissors, coloured pencils
